Artist's Statement

New Horizons was created during a period when I was searching for new opportunities and looking toward the future with determination. Although the destination was uncertain, the act of creating became a reminder that every challenge also brings the possibility of a new beginning.

The bold vertical composition represents the journey forward—one step at a time. Rich greens symbolise growth, renewal, and opportunity, while silver, white, and blue create moments of clarity and hope emerging from uncertainty. The movement within the painting reflects the belief that progress is rarely a straight path, yet every experience shapes the person we become.

Rather than focusing on what was left behind, New Horizons is about believing in what lies ahead. It is a celebration of resilience, ambition, and the courage to continue moving forward.
